Hospitality chain Eatdrinksleep, which occasionally lists Ancre Hill pink at its Welsh gatsropub, the Felin Fach Griffin near Brecon and Hay-on-Wye, to reasonable success, is to list the wine at its new Cornish venture, The Old Coastguard at Mousehole.
“We list the Ancre Hill pink periodically [at the Felin Fach Griffin]. It sold reasonably well, although we didn’t push it very hard. I’ve just bought today a few bottles to list at our new place in Cornwall, The Old Coastguard, where I think it might sell quite well,” says an Eastdrinksleep spokesman.
The Felin Fach Griffin came 18 in the UK’s top 50 gastropubs list.
