Bothy Vineyard at Friford Heath, Oxfordshire will celebrate English Wine Week by opening its grounds to the public on Saturday 9 June and Sunday 10 June, from 10am to 4.30 pm.
Free one hour tours will be run at 11 am and 3 pm on each of these days. Bookings are not required. Tutored tastings of our new vintage will be available free of charge all day with cheese and biscuits. “Visitors are also welcome to picnic in the grounds. Children and dogs (both kept under control) are welcome, all at your own risk: vineyards are active farms with all the attendant hazards from farm equipment to rabbit holes,” say owners Richard and Sian Liwicki.
“We are also proud to be sponsoring the Appleton, Eaton and Besselsleigh, as well as the Marcham Jubilee Celebrations. Bothy will also be showing its wines off – free tasting – in Marcham on 3 June at Manor Farm, Marcham from 12 pm – 2.00 pm.”
