Tenterden vineyard Chapel Down has become the official wine of The Great British Home Show 2012, which will also be providing bar facilities as part of the huge Jubilee celebrations on the Lower Level at Glow. Showgoers will be able to sample and buy its award-winning wine in The Great British Food & Drink section of the show.
Frazer Thompson, the CEO at Chapel Down said: “The south of England shares almost identical geology and soils to the Champagne region, with a chalk seam typified by the North and South Downs of Kent and Sussex and excellent well drained soils in Essex and The Weald.”
Chapel Down will have a 360-degree bar on the ground floor of the exhibition at the Glow Bluewater from May 31 to June 4, which will be part of a giant street party celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee.
