Battersea bar artisan & vine is kicking off its series of Wine of the Moment newsletter columns with an English wine.
From this week’s newsletter through to the end of February, owner and founder Kathryn O’Mara is going to be presenting a different Wine of the Moment in each newsletter. She will be sharing the tasting notes and story behind the wine.
She says: “If you hold a Friends of Artisan & Vine card, you can drink our Wine of the Moment at our off licence prices at the bar.”
The inaugural wine is Chapel Down’s Century Extra Dry traditional method sparkling wine. Crisp English acidity balances the sweetness and brings out the palate of Apple, Elderflower and Hawthorn. Century Extra Dry actually has a hint of sweetness to it.
At Artisan & Vine, Century Extra Dry is normally £37 to drink at the bar and £19 to buy for off licence consumption. From Friday, November 25, the Friends Of Artisan & Vine card will allow drinkers to enjoy Chapel Down’s Century Extra Dry for £19 in the bar. Limit of one bottles per card per day.
