Warwickshire vineyard Bearley Vineyard has made its debut on trade listing in an innovate and exciting new Coventry restaurant which opened last night (Friday October 21).
Winemakers Richard and Jo Le Page joined around 150 other guests at the opening night party of Blue on the city’s medieval Spon Street that well into the small hours.They were invited by owner and proprietor Peter Dunkley to see their wines on display and sample customer feedback.
Dunkley says: “My decision to list both Bearlehy Vineyard and Welcombe Hills is precisely because they are local and produce first rate wine. I am keen to tap into people’s growing appreciation of local produce and interest in the provenance of what they have on their plate or in their glass.
Blue is selling Bearley’s Bard Red, Pinot Precoce and Rose 2010.”
