London bar Le Metro Wine Bar and Bistro, located between the iconic Harrods and Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge is set to support of English Wine Week which runs from 2nd – 10th June.
The bar, on Basil Street, London SW3, will be be altering the drinks and food menu throughout June and July, getting into the spirit of the summer of sport and Queen’s Jubilee: The drinks menu will include wines from Nytimber sparkling wine from Sussex, Three Choirs, Coleridge Hill from Gloucestershire and Gusbourne Pinot Noir from Appledore, Kent. English beer, cider and mead will also be listed.
Even the cocktail special of the month will be an English Mojito.
A traditional afternoon Tea will be available daily, served with a glass of sparkling English wine for £18.95.
The daily specials will include traditional English small bites – classics such as sausage and mash, or fish and chips, are already featured on the menu.
Le Metro wine bar & bistro is located below the acclaimed Levin Hotel and is open daily from breakfast at 7.30pm until late, and offers anything from a juice, coffee or glass of wine to a full meal.
