Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs in the starting block

Buckingham palace

Dainty canapés, quails eggs and smoked salmon and English sparkling wine from Kent vineyard Gusbourne were served to at the glittering pre-Olympics reception, held at Buckingham Palace last Friday, just hours before the opening ceremony.
Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs was the fizz chosen to be served to guests such as Michelle Obama and several heads of state and other members of the Royal Family.
“That the Royal Household supports English sparkling wine by show-casing it at such high profile events is a huge testament and important contributor to how the very best fizzes in the UK are now perceived, both at home and increasingly abroad, and here at Gusbourne we feel very proud to be a part of that,” says the vineyard.
“We hope that through our commitment to total quality, we can continue to build one of England’s finest boutique brands, and thank all those that are helping us achieve this, as partners, clients and supporters.”
