Harvest workload forces temporary closure of Bothy shop

Bothy Vineyard

Owners Richard and Sian Liwicki of Oxfordshire producer Bothy Vineyard are alerting clients that as harvest is approaching and staff will be busy over the next three weekends, its shop will be closed for a number of days when it would normally be open.
“Harvest is upon us and we will be very busy bringing in the grapes and starting to make wine over the next three weekends. As a result our shop will be closed on days when we would normally be open,” says Liwicki.
The shop will be closed on Saturdays September 24, October 1 and 8 as well as Sunday, October 2. The shop remains open on the Fridays and by appointment at other times during the week.
“We still have reasonable, though diminishing, stocks of all our white wines and our red, all of which are showing very well now that they have a little bottle age. Our stock of sparkling wine, Halcyon Days, is now very limited but we do have stocks of the brand new Map of English and Welsh Vineyards,” says Liwicki.
