Specialist fine wine merchant Goedhuis & Co is hosting a “wonderfully pink summer Rosé Tasting” in June in aid of the Starlight Children’s Foundation, a charity that brightens the lives of seriously and terminally ill children by granting them once-in-a-lifetime wishes and providing entertainment for children in hospitals and hospices throughout the United Kingdom.
Sussex vineyard Nyetimber is a newcomer this year at the event, joining classic French fizzes Taittinger, Laurent Perrier, Billecart-Salmon, Ch d’Esclans, Chateau de Sours, Domaine Reverdy, Chateau St Baillon and Domaines Ott.
“We are excited to be holding our wonderfully pink summer Rosé tasting again this year in aid of Starlight Children’s Foundation. Savills and Weatherby’s Private Banking are sponsoring this event again which promises to be even more colourful and spectacular than last year.
“Please keep Tuesday 26th June free in your diaries to come and drink Rosé wine and champagne with us and sample some fantastic foods to match,” says the London-based wine merchant.
Tasting 6.30pm to 9.00pm, June 26, 2012. Tickets cost £40 pp and are available from firstname.lastname@example.org
