A battle between English sparkling and Champagne is to be staged at the Bristol Hotel du Vin as part of the hotel chain’s month-long oyster festival.
On Friday, September 21 the hotel is hosting an English Sparkling Wine v Champagne Tasting. Guests will be able to taste wines from Camel Valley in Cornwall and the Champagne House Ruinart and listen to representatives from both companies battle it out to win votes for their sparkling wine or Champagne. Tickets are priced at £30 which includes a selection of canapés to enjoy with the wines.
