One of London’s greenest and most exclusive penthouse suites is to be the venue for a St George’s Day tasting hosted by pioneering all-English wine retailer The Wine Pantry. Given the significance of the date for Shakespeare fans, the location is appropriately a stone’s throw from the Globe Theatre on the South Bank.
In its first with Borough Market café Elliots and property developer Neo Bankside, The Wine Pantry will match eight of England’s finest wines with ‘best of British’ food pairings to match, held in the penthouse suite of one of the London’s latest, greenest and most exclusive London riverside developments overlooking the Thames.
The Wine Pantry will take guests through five still and three English Sparkling wines and a surprise finale from county-to-county and grape-to-grape. British-gastronomic tour de force, Elliots Cafe of Borough Market, is providing a series of small accompanying dishes of ‘market fresh and best of British only’ patriotism.
Tickets are £55.00 each, or purchase £50.00 each when purchased as part of a group.
