The first 1,000 bottles for two new vintage cuvees, Gusbourne Brut Reserve and Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs 2008, have been hand-washed, ready for the labels to be applied by the estate’s production team.
Two new vintage cuvees, Gusbourne Brut Reserve and Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs 2008s were disgorged some months ago at the Kent vineyard, as the estate prefers to release the wines only once they have had some time ‘on the cork’.
Tasting the wines this week, “2008 has turned out to be another very successful year for us, as we continue to invest care and attention on every vine in our unique terroir,” says the vineyard.
“We have been quite humbled by the huge amount of both recent press and demand for our wines over the last few months, so it is great to be able to bring these new vintages to market, and to offer them to our friends and clients both at home and abroad.”
